While we are not direct providers for insurance, we do facilitate processing your insurance claims and we offer dental financing via CareCredit.

Periodontic Dental Services

We offer offer several treatments and therapies based on the stage of advancement of the periodontal disease.

Periodontal Dentistry is focused on the health of the gums.

• Dental scaling and root planing - non-surgical procedure in which the hygienist removes plaque and tartar from below the gum line. Root surfaces are cleaned and smoothed with specially designed instruments. It is important to remove the plaque and tartar from the pockets. Bacterial toxins irritate the gums, and plaque and the rough surfaces of tartar are a breeding ground for bacteria.
• Laser Surgery Treatment - allows for the correction of periodontal damage and the removal of fibrous or muscle growths that interfere with oral function and health.

• The best place to park is in the municipal parking garage next door at the Wilmington Town Hall.

From I-95 South (at Exit 3)

• 7B toward DE-52 N/Delaware Ave.
• Turn right onto Gilpin Ave. for 0.2 mile.
• Take the 1st right onto N Van Buren St (400 ft)

• Take the 2nd left onto Lovering Ave - First State Dental is on the left.

From I-95 North (at Exit 8)

• Take exit 8 for Concord Pike toward Wilmington
• Follow signs for DE-202 S/Broom St W and merge onto DE-202 S/Concord Ave for 0.3 mile.
• Turn right onto N Broom St. 0.5 mile.
• Continue onto Augustine Rd/Augustine Cutoff 0.3 mile.
• Turn right onto Lovering Ave - - First State Dental is on the left.
